ARE DOTERRA PRODUCTS ASADA/WADA APPROVED?

doTERRA does not sell any products that contain ingredients that are listed as banned substances by ASADA or WADA. All of our products are accurately labeled and include all ingredients including fillers. They do not include any kind of stimulants, hormone factors, etc. They are manufactured at GMP-certified facilities that qualify all incoming ingredients and test finished goods for contamination per GMP regulations.

The position that testing organizations like WADA have taken is that all supplements pose a risk to athletes because they are either mislabeled and contain banned substances or they are sincerely labeled but are potentially contaminated in the manufacturing process. As stated above, our products are not mislabeled and our manufacturers follow strict SOPs to ensure delivery of uncontaminated products. 

The athletes will need to make their own decision based on our reputation as a company to accurately label our products that are formulated without banned substances, and our use of GMP-certified facilities in which our products are manufactured.  Athletes, if they are under testing, should be familiar with what ingredients are prohibited by ASADA and WADA and should select products from reputable companies.

ARE DOTERRA PRODUCTS TGA APPROVED?

Yes. All products you see listed on the website are TGA approved. These are products that are readily available for consumption in the Australian market. There is a large range of other suitable doTERRA products that would be ideal for athletes use but are not yet TGA approved for purchase in Australia. We are hopeful over the next year these products will become available.

ARE DOTERRA PRODUCTS INTENDED TO TREAT, CURE OR HEAL?

doTERRA product statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Their products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. doTERRA products ARE aimed at improving, supporting and maintaining overall health and wellness, eventually leading to improved athletic performance.
